It is graduation time! and AMU/APU SHRM Student Chapter is participating in Grad Central Station 2024 which will serve as a one-stop shop for all graduates' needs during Commencement weekend. It will be the primary registration location, social networking, campus store, and graduation lineup. Set up much like a trade show, we will have a 13'x13' space to craft an experience for graduates and their guests. 

Volunteers are needed.  If you are attending graduation or live in the area, we could really use your help. Just send an email to Dr. Monica - monica.galante@mycampus.apus.edu letting her know what day and how many hours. 

Graduation Dates and Place. Graduation will be held at the Marriott Gaylord National Harbor - 

201  Waterfront, Oxon Hill, MD 20745 - MAY 10 (1100 to 1700) & 11TH (0900 to 1700).

Because of the increased times from previous years, we will be working with Active Minds, the student psychology group, and their faculty advisor Dr. Mary Cooper.  

Some of the things we are considering doing: 

1) We will have a dart game with prizes.  We will, of course, use a velcro dartboard.  

2) Goodie bags for both graduates and their children. 

3) Check-in for those members participating in graduation.

Besides these activities, we do answer questions regarding the chapter, information they may have at the school, possible opportunities, whatever we need to do support our students and their families.
